I'm looking for some recommendations on new workout headphones. I've had a few cheaper sets and can't get anything that's comfortable and stays on my big head while I'm lifting. Anyone have any recommendations?

Have you tried wireless? I use Klipsch wireless Bluetooth ear buds and they are the best for me. Mine are in the ear, but there are plenty of wireless over the ear too that are good. I personally am a fan of Klipsch products.

I've only tried one wireless ear bud but they were low quality and didn't stay in place.  Klipsch is a new one for me so I'll have to take a look, thanks!

I have small ears that develop too much wax. Another problem is trying to put an earbud in my ear. I can't do it until a company invents something for the same purpose that is custom made like a hearing aid.

 

I also read ear buds are more dangerous because of the shorter distance from the speaker to the eardrum  You need softer volume with buds than headbands.

I don't have my music that loud.  I don't need much music at all.  If I have headphones in it's easier to be an [BLEEP] and ignore people that want to gab when I'm trying to put work in.

You certainly would rather hear loud music than someone else in the room talking loud enough for people to hear her a mile away.
