The sports science had me super hyped on Justin Blackmon and he started to show it on the field and then......   drank himself out of the league.  I am not worried about winning the offseason.

Only W's in the column going to make me happy.

Just like Blackmon all the physical traits are there. His success depends on him wanting to be great, coaches putting him in a position to be great, and an improved offensive line.

He truly can be a monster to tackle when he gets going.

Em Diggy compared him to Herschel Walker, and I totally see it...

At least with Fournette, all the signs point to his off field character being fine. He has a daughter and family that he cares about way more than drinking/partying like Blackmon.

Unfortunately Blackmon didn't get the help he needed and spiraled out of control.

Do you regret Blackmon?  If you do.  Prior to him when was last time a player produced excitement?  I do not regret Blackmon here.  Even for the short time.

I think everyone should regret Blackmon. Excitement of 1 player doesn't win football games and he was a complete waste of a high 1st round draft pick.

He was productive and our best receiver.  And didnt cost the jags much at all.  He lost all his money with last issue.

I don't regret the Blackmon excitement because he was a talent.  How could you know that his problems were that deep.  It is sad to see a kid go astray like that.  Addiction is a terrible thing and to witness its destruction worse.

It cost us the 4th overall pick cause he threw it all away. It was a waste.

I don't doubt that if his ankles/feet are healthy he's going to be a good player, I just have doubts about a 240+ lb running back's feet getting healthy so quick. I just hope they are because clearly if the scheme is right and he's healthy he can be a strong performer.

He won't at least Initially be used the same as like MOJO was.  Grant will have a much larger role.  He earned it over 100 yards first game starting. Plus Ivory. I think Yeldon will be used as a receiving threat.

I never was against Fournette.  Just stated facts.  When have more yards Bortles has lost more.  However, If the yards become tds.  Which the front office must be banking on.  That and another speed receiver to catch up to Blakes over thrown passes.

Nothing stated by dave said was happy with Blake.  But the reality is where they picked.  No qb met value.  And if ya heard Dave say we still have time till may 3rd.  Maybe will bring in Cutler or Kap or will trade for someone with next years draft pick.

All of those speculation.  But we have three days.  And we shall see what happens.

TCs system is built on a strong run game. He got a generational player to support that. No complaints here. Not sure why Blackmon is being discussed here. LF is like the pope compared to this guy, and Blackmon was already Darth Vader when we drafted him.
