The sports science had me super hyped on Justin Blackmon and he started to show it on the field and then...... drank himself out of the league. I am not worried about winning the offseason.

At least with Fournette, all the signs point to his off field character being fine. He has a daughter and family that he cares about way more than drinking/partying like Blackmon.
Unfortunately Blackmon didn't get the help he needed and spiraled out of control.

I don't regret the Blackmon excitement because he was a talent. How could you know that his problems were that deep. It is sad to see a kid go astray like that. Addiction is a terrible thing and to witness its destruction worse.

I don't doubt that if his ankles/feet are healthy he's going to be a good player, I just have doubts about a 240+ lb running back's feet getting healthy so quick. I just hope they are because clearly if the scheme is right and he's healthy he can be a strong performer.

Grant will have a much larger role. He earned it over 100 yards first game starting. Plus Ivory. I think Yeldon will be used as a receiving threat.

TCs system is built on a strong run game. He got a generational player to support that. No complaints here. Not sure why Blackmon is being discussed here. LF is like the pope compared to this guy, and Blackmon was already Darth Vader when we drafted him.
