Looking very likely. Should happen sometime soon.

I'm really going to miss all of that Jimbo butt kissing that you were doing while they were winning.

From what they're saying in the news here, it's more about facilities than it is money. A&M is giving him a raise, but he was more concerned about getting a dedicated football facility and not having to share the athletic facilities with other sports.

I don't get it. Why go from Florida State to Texas A&M? Isn't that a step down? To me, that would be like going from Michigan to Minnesota.

Willie Taggart is looking like the most likely choice right now.

Is this supposed to hurt my feelings or something?

I am actually quite elated that Jimbo is leaving.

Jimbo is a Saban clone. He wants total control of every aspect of everything football related. He’s butthurt right now because he isn’t given blank checks by the boosters to upgrade facilities whenever he wants. He wants a stand alone football operations facility built yesterday. FSU announced plans to build one, but because it’s not when Jimbo wants it, he’s upset.

If he was a Saban clone he would be a good coach.  It's just funny to me not long ago you was talking about how great of a coach he is and how he s not going anywhere lol

FSU is just a classless black hole.

What exactly is classless about that? All year long Jimbo has asked the fans to be loyal and not to quit on the team. Now he’s quitting on FSU and someone calls him out on being loyal  and it’s classless? Lol ok buddy.

I believe based on sheer numbers Texas A&M has more fans than FSU.  Which means more money(especially considering all the oil money flowing in from alumni).  Better facilities.  Not much difference in recruiting ability.  The only thing FSU really has going for it is the recent history created by better coaching, specifically Bowden.  It is Bowden that made them what they are moreso than any kind of buit-in, inherent advantage FSU has over A&M.  There is no reason A&M couldnt reach the heights FSU has (or had).  It's just a matter of finding the same level of coaching.

As long as Charles Kelly and Trickett are gone from FSU, this is a huge win.

Jimbo's record is actually pretty bad (for an FSU team) post-Jameis Winston. It's something like 25-13

I wonder is Jimbo getting out of town before the walls close in around him?

Absolutely not. The fan was right. He has every right to call out Jimbo. FSU is a classless organization to take the mic from him, escort him out, and then give an extra shove when he was not resisting and almost gone already. Jimbo and the organization are classless.

As an FSU fan I say, "Jimbo, don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya!"

The fan base has turned on him. FSU called his bluff and now he has to go. Noles have had three decommits in the last two days. The#9 ESPN 2018 CFB recruiting class dropped to mid-teens. Maybe he's trying to punish the program.

His legacy if forever tarnished no matter what he does. Sexton, his agent, screwed-up.

Jimbo, thanks for 2013 NC and 2014 CFB Playoff.

This year you're 5-6 and had to reschedule ULM to become bowl-eligible. Pathetic.
