FSU is a classless organization to take the mic from him, escort him out, and then give an extra shove when he was not resisting and almost gone already. Jimbo and the organization are classless.

Oh ok. I misunderstood. My mistake.

All good dude. I've done that plenty of times myself haha

One of the absolute best fanbases in all of football, impeccable facilities, dedicated facilities, pay raise, more control, and moving to the SEC? Certainly not a step down. At worst, its a lateral move.

Jimbo lost by 33 to Boston College.

Might as well take the $$ and at least get your [BLEEP] kicked by good teams.

Meh it's really just preference. You can make a legitimate argument that either job is preferable. Which means they are probably fairly equivalent.

The facilities are relatively new (2014)

It's also a $2.25 million per year pay increase on this rumored 10 year contract.

I'm going to take a wild guess and estimate that it will take you 20 years to make a total of $2.25 million.

.... #TaggertTime ---- he only lost 4 games this year by 21 or more points.

Why would you compare his salary to a top NCAA football coach?  How is that relevant other than being a douche?

I'm an FSU alum/fan, and I'd like to address some of this nonsense spouted by those unfamiliar with the program.

FSU is building a state of the art football only facility for the players. It's on the board and construction has been authorized.

Jimbo's glory years were 2013-2014. He won a national championship and twenty-nine straight games. Other than that, he's been mediocre. In the last 20 games against Div I teams, FSU barely has a winning record.

FSU is 5-6 this year, and in danger of having their first losing season since Gerald Ford was president. That's on Jimbo. True, we lost our starting QB, but the defense has been the most disappointing aspect of the team. It's filled with 4 and 5 star players. And there have been no injuries on that side of the ball. On offense, he takes to much time to call the plays, costing us valuable time outs.

That said, Jimbo is an excellent recruiter. FSU consistently ranked in the top 5 in recruiting under him. Better than Texas AM or Oregon, with their stellar facilities. But my understanding is that Taggart is an excellent recruiter too.
