So at this point in his career a BB that can't run? Cousins, Smith, or draft pick and BB are the best options for this team.

Agree... Plus with Eli, you have to deal with his daddy. I would hate to see Marrone bench Eli, and end up losing his job because of it.

We don't need Eli's daddy running things in Jacksonville.

Pretty sure Eli would have thrown for more yards today than he rushed for, so not too far fetched. BB is crippling the potential of this franchise.

Too many better options on the table. Eli is a drama queen.

As long as we all agree BB needs to be replaced, it's a start.

I wanted BB to work out more than anyone. But if Alex Smith or Cousins is available, you have to do it.

I hate rolling the dice on QB's in the 1st round (Rosen and Darnold are worth it but the rest are risky). So I'll call that plan C.

Please God no. Swing for the fences with Cousins or see if you can get Smith for 20 mil a year. If you can't get either of these 2 guys, resign Blake to a team friendly deal, a very team friendly deal. Then go and draft one.

Cousins, Smith, Trade up, or bust

Since being drafted Bortles has more playoff victories than Eli...

LMAO you guys are actually still throwing Alex Smith's name around.. He just choked away a 21-3 lead against the tacks, but he's an upgrade.. You're all truly idiots if you honestly think that he's an upgrade.

And to even mention Eli... He just led his team to the #2 overall pick.. Are you guys serious? LOL

If you can't see that Alex Smith is a clear cut upgrade to Blake Bortles, there is probably an eye glass store nearby you can go get your eyes examined so you can actually see the difference in QB play. 67.5% 2017 completion percentage, takes care of the ball, can hit the deep ball better than Blake, scores more tds, throws less picks, and is also mobile. He wasn't the issue in the Titans game. We get a QB to throw 72.7  competition %, 264 yards and 2 TDs/0 ints on our team vs Tennessee, we aren't losing that game. I guarantee the run game would benefit greatly from a guy like Alex Smith. You can't be serious.

Blake had 4 games with multiple ints, and 5 games with 2 tds or more in 16 games. He also threw 5 less TDs.

Smith had 7 games with 2 tds or more, and only 1 game with multiple ints in 15 games.

Smith 26 TD 5 INT 4042 YDS 104.7 Rating. (15GP)
Bortles 21 TD 13 INT 3687 YDS 84.7 Rating (16GP)

Its a no brainer, maybe you are missing the required organ to make it a no brainer.

You're vastly exaggerating Archie Manning's influence.

Alex Smith threw for an entire grand total of 70 yards in the 2nd half of that game vs the tacks.... He had a great first quarter, nobody denies that, but he completely crumbled after that 1st quarter..

And you continue to reach by saying "if you can't see blah blah blah is a clear upgrade over Bortles blah blah blah". I never said anything about Bortles.. You really need to stop assuming things, especially considering the fact that Smith is about to be bounced from his 2nd team, even after they reached the playoffs.. How is that not an obvious sign?

Also, Smith is 33 years old... Bortles is 25 years old... I'd like to hope that Smith is at least slightly ahead of Bortles in development at this point in time.

All of these replacements people keep screaming for weren't all that impressive. Alex Smith was good during the regular season but once Kelce went out on Saturday he buckled under pressure. Manning is Manning. It'll be a love/hate relationship with him if he were to come here just like it's been with Bortles. And he's a band aid at best.

Cousins you can look at but the price tag is going to be lofty and again he hasn't done that much either that really makes you want to give into his high price tag. The only hope this team has right now is Blake Bortles winning out and holding that Lombardi Trophy and they still end up drafting Henne's replacement or Bortles' bane in a few months at the bottom of RD1 or RD2 on day two.

Since being drafted, Eli has 2 more Super Bowls than Bortles.

That is the worst stat I have ever heard brought up on a message board.

Alex Smith is a massive upgrade over Blake Bortles. It isn't even up for argument.

No thanks to Eli at this point in his career. By all means, Replace Bortles. Just do it with someone worth it. I'd take Alex Smith over Eli Manning, and I wouldn't particularly want Alex Smith.

Cousins and/or Draft Pick. That's our best shot I think.
