Hi, Jaguars fans!   Smile  Great playoff win over the Buffalo Bills winning 10-3 at EverBank Field, yesterday!   Cool

#4 Alabama Crimson Tide play the #3 Georgia Bulldogs for the CFP National Championship Game of NCAA College Football between Southeastern Conference teams.  The game also concludes both the 2017 NCAA College Football regular season, and postseason bowl schedule.

Alabama seeks to win their fifth national championship, and in the Crimson Tide's seventh national championship finals appearance, since Nick Saban was hired as Alabama's Head Coach in 2006.

Georgia seeks to win their first NCAA national championship in college football, and their third since 1942, since the 1980 team lead by Head Coach Vince Dooley.

ESPN and ESPN Radio are Megacasting tonight's thorough media coverage of the 2018 College Football Playoff Championship Game to their family of networks.

Kickoff from the $1.6 billion dollar Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Downtown Atlanta will be by 8:10PM Eastern Standard Time.

NO injuries, and GO GEORGIA!   Wink   Big Grin

Georgia have a much better QB and backfield. But that Bama defense is nasty as always and they've Ridley + two v good backs themselves (not on same tier). I'm going with Georgia.

Georgia's Defense is crap. Bama rolls, 35-6

Roquan Smith might be the best linebacker in the NCAA, in my opinion and Lorenzo Carter isn't bad either. I give Georgia the slight advantage at Linebacker. With that said, I agree that Bama has a MUCH better secondary and it's not even close. As for the D-Line, I have Bama with a slight advantage there too. On the other hand, I believe Georgia has a decided advantage on the offensive side of the football. This game could go either way in my opinion.

Wow, what a reaction for the introduction of Trump. Half cheers, half boos, and loud.

Ugly int for GA. The receiver needs to hang on to that.

Score still tied 0-0. Under 7:00 to go in the 1st quarter. I guess I'll post periodic updated for anyone who can't watch the game.

It’s a shame that you have to have cable to watch the CFNCG. I’m sure there’s many people in rural Alabama and Georgia that are missing the game on TV. Should be on network television imo.

I'll do my best, but frankly, I'm channel surfing. I'm not all that dependable. Cry

GA up 3-0 now. I'm sorry, but I missed what transpired. That channel surfing thing strikes again.

And a block in the back negates a HUGE gain from GA on a punt return that would have been deep into AL territory. Ugh....

Alabama needs a real qb the guy sucks. One thats not a rb playing qb. Saban is stupid to ever keep this guy at qb.

Saban got away from his wheelhouse and recruited a dual threat QB because that’s the way college football is trending. I’m sure he’s going to rethink his offensive strategy in the upcoming recruiting classes.

And doesn't. 6-3 GA after another field goal. 7:00 to play in the first half.

Duel is two way equally, hurts is like 1.75 rb, .25qb.
He's worse than bortles. Holds the ball to long, poor pocket awareness, crap college qb

apologies to anyone depending on me for updates. Nobody's even in the thread, and the game is, frankly, boring.
