Surely you'd agree with me if I said that the money being used on that wet dream would do much more good as part of a broader infrastructure package or simply cut from the budget and returned to the American people? A digital and economic wall that levies significant civil and criminal penalties against those who knowingly or negligently house or employ those here illegally would cost less and be more effective. Despite what Uncle Donald wants you to believe, most illegal traffic across the border is civilian in nature, people trying to get out of there by getting into here. If you remove the incentive for them to come up here, they'll slow down (not stop, just slow), and Border Patrol will be able to focus more on stopping the actual drug runners instead of the people who are as much a threat to freedom as you or I.

Yea, my family immigrated here legally. If they want in this country, they follow the law and come in legally.

I agree with this 110%. I consider illegals "line cutters". They are like those people at amusement parks who come in and try to cut their way to the front of the line, while everyone else waits patiently and does things the right way.

If they are getting permanent residencies with the 'ability' to become citizens they are supposed to be off the dole for 5 years. But there really is no enforcement so I know that isn't true, even tho its a requirement.

I agree I'm fully against illegal immigration. Im a first born American to two immigrant parents that each spent 7-15 years following the laws to become legal citizens. That said I think building a physical wall is a waste of money. Unfortunately Trump campaigned on it so hard he has no choice but to build it. 

Turn off the magnets if you want to end illegal immigration. End public welfare and change the tax laws to a consumption based tax system. Make it easier to obtain work visas and reform the system to make immigration more streamlined legally.
