Extra motivation

#1
(This post was last modified: 01-11-2018, 11:20 AM by Byron LeftTown.)

If the Titans beat the Pats on Saturday, it will shake the football world to its roots, and questions about the Pats' trio of owner, coach and QB will dominate the narrative.

But it also lets the Steelers and Jags know the winner of Sunday's game will host the Titans the following week, instead of having to travel to Foxboro.  I can't imagine either team needing any extra motivation, but hosting the AFCCG would be huge for either city.

Also, did anyone notice the South won all 4 wildcard games last week?  Titans / Jags / Falcons / Saints.  Let's do it again this week, for an all-South Championship weekend and Super Bowl.

Dang, you couple that with the BCS Championship game and the South is on a roll.

Not to mention UCF as the true National Champions.

There is no chance of Titans beating Bradiots at home

Auburn's season basically ended with the SEC Championship loss... They didn't want to be there.
That said, congrats to UCF for one heck of a season!

Preparing for 1 game is much different than being in a tough conference where every game is tough.
Here we go again

Mercer is tough?

But yeah, the SEC is in a dog fight all year Bama, LSU, GA, Texas A&M, Fla, Tenn, Miss State....it's a bloodbath

I don’t think any team would need extra motivation.  I personally would love to take on the Pats.   You beat Pittsburgh and then the Patriots,  there’s nothing the media can say at that point.   You’ve just let the the NFL know there’s a new dog in town.

Lol .... Florida and Tennessee ????

Tennessee was 0-8 in the conference with losses against Kentucky, Vanderbilt, and Missouri.

Florida lost to Missouri by 29 and fired their coach mid-season.

This year...yes.  Historically Florida and Tenn are pretty good teams and the SEC takes turns beating the crap out of each other.

I can’t see the NFL allowing both their darlings to go down this weekend.

There’s that tried and true excuse from SEC fans.

There should really be 8 teams in the playoff and UCF should have probably got a shot, but them calling themselves national champions is a little pathetic.
