This is the top story on ESPN.com right now. Hopefully the Jags players have this taped to their lockers.

I mean this is set up for the jags to win. All we are hearing is “there is no way the jags are beating Brady in Foxboro in the AFC championship game “

I mean the analyst aren’t even breaking the game down for real because it’s already written in stone lol

The easiest path. The Goliath versus little ole David with his stones lol. I can see this upset from a mile away.

Elo ratings? I'll have to do some research since I've never heard of this [BLEEP].

It's so difficult to remain level headed about this.. I'm so hyped.. I'm not over confident, but I'm not unconfident.

All I will say is that this Sunday cannot come quickly enough!

I hadn't heard of them until the last few years. Are they something ESPN made up maybe?

What I like about this list is how far you have to scroll down to see Indianapolis and Houston.

They base their conclusions on the ELO rating, yet the ELO rating predicted KC to beat the Chiefs and Pittsburgh to beat the Jaguars. So much for *that*.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

Yeah but the chiefs kind of did beat themselves, which is something I doubt anyone else was predicting, so there is that.

These things have been around for years just not in the real sports realm. Again for years video games have used them. They are getting more popular as an analytic tool by mainstream media because they have started covering competitive gaming like league of legends and Dota /end nerd

Its ESPN using a system to rank single players and small teams in comparison to others. Its really stupid.... Elo system is a match making rating system. Nothing to do with pro football, or any real pro sport outside of video gaming.

ESPN at it again with ridiculous evaluation methods.

The path is the easiest, until they lose. I have a really good feeling they will.

Thank you ESPN, the Patriots were doing a flawless job of praising us, even if the boys weren’t buying it (see Telvin).

Regardless of its stupidity and irrelevance, this is easy motivation/bulletin board. Not that I think we need outside help to get hype for a AFCCG.
