TheO-LineMatters 7 round Mock Draft

Didn't know anything about Corbett, but after some research he looks like an extremely versatile lineman who could start at guard but move to tackle if necessary. I love how you allowed Rudolph to fall to the Jaguars since he's your favorite quarterback. Opinions on him are all over the map, but I like the pick and prefer him to Jackson due to his size. He will need some time to develop, but I want to see what Bortles can do next season with a much better group of receivers. I didn't really allow Rudolph to fall to us. In fact, this is the first mock I've made where he did fall to us. When Sam Darnold decided to enter the draft and Ben Roethlisberger announced he will be back in 2018, it really helped our case. Both of those were unexpected to me. Had either one not happened, he wouldn't have made it to our pick. I don't wanna cut Hurns at all. He's our most dependable receiver he just needs to stay healthy. Having him with our two young guys (Westbrook and Cole), who will be more experienced and a new, big target in Wims, gives us a nice core. Hurns just needs to keep from getting hurt. I believe Poz and Lewis will both be gone. I would've loved to add a swing tackle prospect as well, but we just didn't have enough picks. I believe we will bring in a couple UDFA OT's to compete for that position, as well as bringing in a RB or two as depth behind Fournette and Grant. I also based my draft upon us re-signing CB Aaron Colvin. Even if we do, I'd expect us to bring in some UDFA CB's for depth. Thanks. |
