I really don't understand what you want. I watched almost every one of Rudolph's games last year and I have no clue what you are referring to. You can't have a lack of arm and still be considered one of the best deep ball throwers in the country, like he was. I saw him makes deep throws, intermediate crossing patterns and out passes to the sidelines, as well as screen passes without consistent problems all season. Sure, he'd throw an errant pass every now and again, just like every QB does, (even Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers), but it didn't occur in chunks like we get with Bortles. When I watched Bortles and Mayfield this year, I saw guys who are about as consistent as a QB can possibly get. That's all I want, is consistency.

Well like anything subjective theres going to be differences in opinion. Don't fault you for sticking your viewpoint if that's what you think.

My personal view is his arm is average at best. Most of the QB gurus I follow for content would seem to have the same opinion. I think Rudolphs size and style of passer leads people astray with his arm. Theres a reason he floats all of his passes and it isn't by choice.

Great touch but his arm talent overall isn't great.

I have the same impression about him actually but I haven't watched enough.

What's your take on Lauletta? I definitely have to watch more of him as well but his quick release and ball placement stand out in a very positive way.

Lauletta reminds me of Jimmy G a lot. As you said quick release , great ball placement, clean mechanics and has all the intangibles you look for.
I'm pretty on him being our target in the 2nd if we bring back Blake. He's gonna be good.
