I think its a great hire by the Colts honestly. Still an unknown though as far as playcalling, Pederson was the one calling the plays for the Eagles

Good QB guy but who knows what he's like as HC.

Rumours are he isn't Ballards guy. Move came from ownership who are big fans of him. Got the endorsement from Peyton and Dungy.

Truth be told probably a better option than McDaniels.

I think that is a solid hire by them. The thing to ask is can he turn Jacoby Brissett into the starting QB they need to be a contender?

Ah the ol' take the hottest Coordinator from the most recent super bowl winning team! This doesn't seem to work out that much, but I agree that he was the best of what was left out there for the clots. If he is as aggressive as Pedersen could be really interesting. Team will lose a lot of games d/t its huge lack of talent compared to the Eagles especially, but it would be fun.

Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster

I like this hire way better than McDaniels. He's got a long way to go though, before that team becomes relevant again, so there's nothing to worry about for awhile.

What makes you think it is a great hire?

Darn. Really wanted them to have McDaniels as I’m not a believer in him. Reich might be pretty good. Either way their roster is garbage, so as others said, nothing to worry about in the immediate sense.

Meh. Good for Reich. We'll see how he pans out for them. I picture him to get similar results as BOB

So after all these years of talk, it figures that Indiana would finally be the place to build The Fourth Reich.

Completely agree with this.

The return to relevance could be longer if Luck isn't what he was.

But even if he is what he was, they have major problems in the trenches on both sides of the ball.
