The surest way to tell if it's a false flag is to just ignore the details of the event and concentrate instead on the media response.  Sometimes the media barely reports a mass shooting if they can't make it fit one of their standard anti-gun or anti-conservative narratives.  Other times it's wall-to-wall 24/7 coverage and immediate calls from all the usual Marxists that we must "have a conversation" about guns.  We never get to "have a conversation" about incompetent or complicit school officials, local police or federal investigators dropping the ball.  We never "have a conversation" about the dangerous anti-depressent drugs which almost every mass shooter is taking.  Nope, and the "conversation" about guns only lasts until the gun-grabber wet dream legislation can be introduced.  

So basically, if legislation is quickly rammed through after an event, it was a false flag.  If the police response was criminally incompetent, it was a false flag.  If the crime scene is quickly condemned and destroyed, it was a false flag.  If there's a large payout for participants, victims and families, it was a false flag.
