Nope. It wouldn't make much sense to have that take until we ehhh see what they actually do this offseason first.

Unnecessary extensions of the entire FO and QB while at the same time prioritizing an average at best WR and a nickel corner over the closest thing you have to a blue chip passing game threat is not the best start. Meanwhile another team in an eerily similar conference championship game/defense/mediocre QB situation in the Vikings are going balls to the wall to upgrade the most important position on the field. I fear we're going to see how these two diametrically opposing mindsets will pay off.

Already explained to you that those extensions don't actually mean much. Just extra cash.

And yeah I certainly wouldn't have gone about it this way but I'll reserve some judgement until I see what happens with Lee/Colvin.

Letting Arob go is inexcusable. Yeah the vikings are smart to get Kirk.

Great player but I mean we won without him so while I want him back, he has to buy into the team system he's not the most talented guy on the team anymore.

The team is being built the old fashioned way.

Play good D, running game and time of possession. The team isn't going to have a Swann & Stallworth explosive passing game.

what a colossal mistake to not even franchise him and see how that knee is for a year before you decide what to do long-term

I'm gonna go out a limb and say they probably already know how that knee is and that's why they haven't franchised him.

“Going our on a limb” to say his knee is no good?

That’s just mean!

I think the knee would definitely have to be a concern at least in terms of signing the guy to a big money, long term deal and that's probably what the guy wants. As someone else  mentioned, we did manage to do pretty well without him last year. Dede Westbrook is going to be pretty good in his own right. There is also some talk we could try to bring in a guy like Sammy Watkins. That might make sense if you think Dede is going to emerge as the number 1 threat they really want.  He's unproven though so who knows for sure?
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.
