Why? I thought the Oakland mayor giving criminals the heads up to get out of town before the feds came around quite endearing.

Imagine that, holding up laws. Should go after the individual government positions that are not in non-compliance.

I am in agreement with the general principle that states should not be allowed to flout federal law.     I think in this case, according to the Constitution, it's a slam dunk for the DOJ.
