Bears to sign WR Allen Robinson (merged)

Next year we have to lose someone on D. Malik,Dareus, or Calais plus no way they pick up Fowlers 5th year option unless what he gets near 20 sacks.
No Fun

He wanted to catch passes from a natural thrower, someone who'll keep it inbounds bro

No way it’s 3 for 42. That’s only 14 a year.

Wow, was expecting a slight bump over Davante Adams. Got a slight drop from him. With the report Watkins getting 16mil per that’s a steal for Robinson. Guess they really do just want to run the ball using that on Norwell

....and there we have it confirmed.

OR.. he was offered more money and took it. Bitter? No.. do I blame him? No...

Is he worth it coming off an injury like he had? Also, no.

Good luck to him.

I really don't think he wanted to play for Blake again. 14 Mill doesn't seem like a break the bank amount so I would be surprised if we didn't offer it, plus it's tax free in Florida. Maybe since he's from Detroit he might have wanted to get a little closer to home. Maybe he even missed the cold weather.

He will fail.

That's not bitterness.. That's just spitting facts.

His history/results do not warrant money of that level IMO.

The simple fact is that the system allows for that to happen. Every year free agents cash in. That was the intent when they implemented the rookie wage scale. Vets would be the major benefactors monetarily. It has worked to perfection. maybe too good as the result is sometimes average players receive elite cash. I like A-Rob but I'm not sure the feeling is mutual.

For all we know the Jags did offer that much.

Lets be really honest. Arob didnt want to play for Marrone and hackett and run first no wide open madden offense. Listen to his comments about signing he said he liked the wide open offense the new coach ran. Cause no way trrabiski is better then bb5.

This 3 year deal allows him to sign another contract when he's 28.

14 million per year and 25 guaranteed. Thought he'd get 30 million at least but otherwise about what I expected.

Would have kept him at this price but whatever. Looking forward to seeing him play.

Nothing,  we signed Norwell.
