@BrentASJax
5h5 hours ago Does seem that ? off on some of these reports. Remember, agents are giving the national guys information - language can be tricky- but throwing bigger numbers out there while frenzy is happening - well it wouldn’t surprise me. Heard Lee deal is less than reported so who knows. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Marqise Lee contract numbers by Mike Di Rocco:
Some numbers in WR Marqise Lee's new contract with the Jaguars: $7 million signing bonus and the deal averages $8.5 million per year. Total guarantee is $16.5 million.

He always gives full effort, now let's just stop with those drops at the worst possible moment. I don't rate him that much but that's a good deal all things considered. Just run crossers with him and he'll fine. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Most don't had a problem with the deal Lee got. Lee deserves that value for sure. Most of us just don't really think the Jags necessarily needed to sign him because we thought they'd try to not go spend crazy.

Not by itself no, but when combined with the Moncrief deal to be more money than Arob got even w/ the franchise tag it loses a lot of its luster.
Mannnnnnn I thought the sky was falling and Dave was an idiot, this is disappointing

To the point that it probably was a factor in the Lions using an Original Round ( 6 ) RFA Tender on WR T.J. Jones at a little over $ 1.9 million. The original plan was not to use the RFA Tender on Jones, who projects as the team's # 4 WR again. If the Jaguars wouldn't have given Marqise Lee the contract that they did, another team would very likely have or would have come close. We show less advertisements to registered users. Takeaway from Caldwell today - Lee was always their target to bring back, it was just a question of who else they would have to pair with him. They consider him their #1.

He'd have been the #2 to both of them. |
