I'm a little worried about our cap.

#1

Up to about a week ago, I didn't expect the Jags to be active in free agency.  My guess was that they'd sign premier player from outside the organization, and then re-sign A-Rob.  And I'm thrilled with our new guard - I love the signing. But I think for what we gave to Lee and. Moncrief, we could have given to keep Robinson. And now we're dangerously close to being over the cap.  This makes nervous, considering that we've got to keep the Fearsome Foursome - Fowler, Jack, Ramsey, and Ngakoue.

I just don't get the love for Moncrief.  He had one good year - with Andrew Luck. But Bortles ain't Andrew Luck. Someone tell me how this makes our WR better. Is he really a true #1 receiver?

He’s not a #1 WR. We don’t have a true #1.

And stop worrying about the cap. It’ll be fine.

We are going to end up like the Seahawks are now, just gotta hope they win a few Superbowls and draft well. This team will be broken up in 4 years

Fowler has an option, at least here for two more seasons if they want. Jack/Ngakoue can be handled next offseason to insure they won't hit FA... or at least one of them and tag the other the year after. Ramsey has an option and if there is any doubt will be franchised. Plenty of guys who will be cut/renegotiated to make room. I wouldn't be worried at all.

If there is anything to worry about, it is how they are going to fill out the rest of this roster with the $ available. Lots of needs, not enough draft picks.

Don't worry, enjoy the ride. It's going to be a good few years.

On AR15, just remember that we would have paid him $16 mill for his post-ACL year in which he was likely to put up some limited numbers AND THEN BE A FREE AGENT ANYWAY. He's gone and instead we have a monster guard in front of LF27 clearing the way.

That is how defensive teams work in the history of the NFL. You can use the Broncos as another recent example. Thing is the Seahawks got Wilson, they can rebound fairly quickly because they got a franchise QB. Jags will need to find that guy soon in the future.

Tempted to write up something about our cap because there's really no need to worry about it..

We have a cap specialist that is considered one of the best. Don't worry about the cap.

Really feel like this positions us to take a QB(Jackson or Rudolph) to sit behind Blake at 29.

Yes, if they really like one of those 2 and they are there at 29 it wouldn't surprise me at all.

This would be really cool, but LB is a need/must now IMHO.

Arob simply did not want to be here. Obvious by the contract he signed.

He completely alienated himself awhile ago anyways. Anyone that wouldn't want to be part of this team on top of having no state tax in FL needs to have their head checked. 10 mins away from the SB when we weren't even on the playoff radar to begin with.

Me either. It looks like they have the luxury of picking their best available player at that pick, be it a QB, OL, TE, etc but QB is definitely in play.

Y'all want a new QB drafted so bad that it's coming across thirsty and that's comical to me. They are not graphic you be at 29 so please move on from it and allow the team to give Blake Bortles the best chance to succeed

I think it will be 1 of 3 players

1. Will Hernadez

2. Dallas Goedert

3. Mason Rudolph

Not sure which one but I really feel like it will be one of the 3
