I'm a fan. Smaller H-back type at 6'1 240. Ran a 4.5. had 500 yards in 2014 but has otherwise done nothing.

Think of Delanie Walker before he got good.

I absolutely love this potential signing. He never got his due because of Jordan Reed but he is a good route runner and has sure hands. Love it.

I hope this doesn't impact ASJ's visit. Paul was a nice sleeper TE like 3 years ago...

I hadn't even noticed he was out there. He's another good TE.

I can totally see us going into the season at TE with...

  1. Marcedes
  2. Niles Paul (or ASJ)
  3. Koyack
  4. Hurst
That guy from the Pats can go imo

He will be a nice piece for bortles. Definitely another guy that has been under utilized. Good hands, good routes, gets open. Could flourish in the system we run.

Bortles really couldn't ask for much more.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

Other than one mediocre season stats, the rest of his career stats are futile. More castoffs please.

Apparently we signed him to a two year deal.

Yep. His grand total of 2 touchdowns in a 6 year career... total freak in the RZ.

He's just depth but the more versatile pieces you have to play with the better. He can play some FB, TE, WR and be mixed around.

Anyone remember when he lit us up a couple years ago?

In all seriousness tho, I think he fits our scheme. He’s a solid run blocker first and can pose a threat as a receiver. If they don’t respect him as a wideout? Good, he’ll be open.

I tried to Google his highlights with the skins, and everything was from six or seven years ago. He's been a great mentor to second string tight end Vernon Davis.

I think he is here for special teams. Was the special teams captain in Washington.

He lit up a very bad defense in 2014. Sign him before someone else does.

I wouldn't panic about that.
