The Jets front office is so stupid. This is highway robbery and how the Colts got away with this is beyond me.

The laws of supply and demand as it applies to the QB position is how they got away with this.

If you are the Jets and you need a QB, and you have three QBs at the top of this draft, you have to make sure you get one.

Staying at 6 would likely leave you locked out of the top 3 QBs.

This makes me believe they weren't necessarily high on Baker Mayfield.  Maybe he drops.

The tacks really didn't do anything with their haul, did they?

Dodd?  Johnson?  Meh.

That's way too much. They better draft their Franchise QB with this. Or maybe the next Geno Smith....

Three second round picks for the Colts this year could be big for them.

Not sure it makes any difference to the number of QBs off the board in the first round though, because the Jets would probably have gone QB at six anyway.

It is a lot, but they needed to do it and fast. There are so many QB needy teams trying to get up in the top 3-4. Jets saw a chance and got it, and will secure themselves a top 3 QB. Next up I expect the Bills and Giants to make a move.

It's probably the difference in them getting one of the top three or having to settle for Mayfield.  I think he probably develops into a good NFL qb based on his accuracy and competitiveness.  But his immaturity issues drop him down the list.  I saw one mock with him going to the Saints at 27.  That seems like a good fit.

I don't think the Giants move out of that pick at all.

There is a new coach, a new GM, with a top 2 pick and a 38 year old QB, with top tier QB prospects on the board.

That is a recipe for standing pat and taking a QB.

Not good , clots are going to get four solid players out of this draft.

As of now, I don't think the Giants are gonna take a QB in the first. I believe they are counting on Saquan Barkley being there for them. If the Browns take him #1, (which is what I believe happens), the Giants might very likely trade out or stay there and take a guy who IMO, is the best player in the draft, DE Bradley Chubb to upgrade that terrible pass rush which ranked #29 in the NFL last year.

Browns should take Chubb #1, then go with a QB at 4

Garrett and Chubb would be awesome.

If what you say happens, the happiest teams become the Bills and Denver.

The Bills are happy because one of their three top QBs would still be there, and Denver would have the same opportunity as the Colts to get a trade down windfall.

I think just the opposite.  If Chubb is their target, they should go QB 1 to have their choice of signal callers.  Chubb will likely still be there at 4.

QBs are going 1-2-3 we don't need to overthink this.
