Quote:True. That's what I am looking forward to. The story hasn't really touched that much at all on what ultimately triggered the outbreak. In the first or second season they made it to the center of disease control and found out that it's airborne and that it effects all of us regardless of when the outbreak occurred. 

 

That whole scene is begging for a backstory/flashback.

 

It seems like it was a "staging point" for supplies, and the carnival was set up to entertain the survivors while things were still being sorted out.

 

If there was a slow outbreak at this carnival, everyone would have high tailed it and have evacuated before they all turned.  They must have all turned together and without trauma.
