Dez Bryant Released (merged)

He's been steadily declining. Personally I think some of it has to do with Prescott at QB. I for one would be down to bring him in on a 1 year deal.

This has been a long time coming. I want no part of Bryant though.

He's declining and obviously comes with a bit of unwanted drama.

Not someone I could see Cough-Well spending FA dollars on. I think they could find a role for him with the the Jags, but he' probably whine about it not being enough incessantly.

Seems like a guy destined for talks with the raiders, pats and niners to me.

Niners was my immediate thought. They are thin at receiver and have a ton of money to spend. And Lynch plays GM like he's playing franchise mode in Madden.

9ers.

He's overrated and has an inflated ego about his abilities. Cris Carter picked him apart one day on EPSN and openly called him out for his lack of skill set and route tree knowledge. When Romo was done in Dallas Bryant was effectively done in Dallas. Romo made him look a lot better than he actually is. He might be able to redeem himself on a pass happy offense with a pass happy QB but he's not a franchise receiver as some people may believe.

LOL! In his defense, he is only calling on high-caliber ones haha. I know Dez has dropped off a lot from what he was. But, I don't think we can definitively say any of our WRs are better than Dez. So can we really blame Ramsey? lol
Let's Get Em!!!! Go Jags!

With the cowboys parting ways with Dez I think he would look good in Teal. Big strong receiver is just what we need on the outside. He has a few good years left.

I might give him a one year contract to see what he could do. But I can't see him fitting in long term.

Defenses would have to respect him outside and it could open up the run game with 4nette. I agree with the one year deal though. I just don't see any WR's I like for that role in this draft. Might be too expensive but the front office should check into it at least. Just my humble opinion. This team is ready to win now.

Dez is so washed up it's not even funny. Really interested to see where he lands. The guy is turning 30 in November and has brick hands lately

Dude, I love Ramsey. He dont care at all. I never seen any other Jag player recruiting players. So i love it.

I'd take Bryant.

I'd rather have held onto Hurns, to be honest about it.

Stay away from this guy...

Quote:Bryant put the decision to release him on coaches and players he labeled as "Garrett guys," but he did not name anybody specifically.

"I won't put no names out, but they know, and I went them to know I know," Bryant told NFL Network.
"I'll shoot them a text message and let them know. Little do they know is, they can wear that 'C' all they want to, but in the locker room, they know they run and they talk, too. They know who they communicate with. Everybody knows where the real love is at."
