How surprised are you that we didn't select a TE or even bring in an UDFA?

Very surprised we didn't draft a tight end.
Seems they wanted one but Marrone said that once they reached the 4th round the TE's they were interested in were gone. I guess we missed out on those we wanted at the beginning of the second round and were hoping for Ian Thomas to slide a bit further but Carolina taking him at the start of the 4th complicated their plans (that's just my guess though). Listening to Marrone he seems to rate ASJ really high but knows the group could be improved and they'll look at that. (not sure what moves we could do anyway eventually) |
