If the colts got offers of multiple firsts to take that salary on they were fools for passing it up. Luck appears to be done.

If he’s not 100%, he won’t last against the defenses in this division. But if he isn’t ready, how long do you wait until you just move on? I saw some pictures of him not long ago and he looked stronger than I’ve ever seen him. But those muscles don’t mean anything if you can’t move your shoulder. I honestly hope he’s in good playing shape. It’s not enough to beat the Colts without him.

Shoulder injuries are becoming more scary than knee injuries, especially with the advancements in knee procedures. What other joint has the range of motion as your shoulder does? Quick answer..none. (now throw in the fact that a QB strictly relies on the health of that shoulder + the time he's missed) and as someone who's dealt with a significant shoulder injury and still feels pain every day. The Colts can say whatever they want, but he's never going to have the legacy that he would've had (same with Watt..once they cut on your back it's downhill).

He was a hell of a player though.

He wasn't a top qb before the injury. So not too bothered either way

Didn’t they say the same a year ago?

I gotta agree with TurndownforWatt here. Shoulder injuries are scary period. Add in that he’s a QB and hasn’t played in forever...doubtful that he’ll ever be a top level starter if a starter at all.

As for Watt, back injuries never fully heal period. I watched the excruciating process with both my father and grandfather.
I hate to say it cus dude is a fantastic player even if he is a tinhorn, but I would be SHOCKED if Watt ever really contributed again.
