Jags have a chance to turn season around with a win over a quality team - something that hasn't been achieved in a long time. Looking forward to the game.

Let's GO Jags!

Double post. Go Jags, Raiders are the sucxksz.

Quote:Not a chance. Raiders fans aren't going to fly cross country for what to them is a 10:00 game outside the division. They don't travel well outside of California.

So was the one Thundercat started a minute later.

I was there a few years ago when the Raidas came to Jax and both teams were [BLEEP] bad. The Jags went down 17-0 at half I believe, then came back and won a thriller. I distinctly remember being shocked at the amount of Raiders fans and how loud and rowdy they were. Today it remains one of my favorite home Jaguars game stories.

Of course it made it that much sweeter to get a win, but yea I'd expect thousands of Raiders fans there today. I hope we can duplicate that outcome again!!.

I'd much prefer it if we didn't go 17-0 down, though haha!

80% of what I talk about is nonesense.. the other 25% is made up statistics...

Yea, Raiders fans were CLOWNING us during halftime. Chanting through the halftime show, in the line to get a beer, in the line to get rid of the previously drank beer. It was embarrassing, but we've all been there before with this team. McFadden was going off and I remembered how big and fast he looked.

That 2nd half I don't remember much of to be honest (I swear to drunk I wasn't God at that point), but I remember how loud the Jags fans got once we got back in it. The Raiders fans had an unpleasant walk out of the stadium, no doubt.

This is going to be an ugly game that will be decided by which team commits the least penalties and stupid mistakes in the 4th quarter.

Not if Gus slowly closes the ice cream freezer with a stone-faced glare during halftime.

I don't know why, but I'm actually a little optimistic about this game. If Gus is finally turning the corner, there could be no better game than this one to prove it. If we lose today, barring injury to key players, Gus is unquestionably done.

Jags offense comes out flat, players overall look flat, unmotivated, not prepared, ie, the chargers game. Blowout at halftime. Fans boo and leave during the 3rd qtr on the jags first possession which is a 3 and out.

I'm at work, with my Jags socks on (plus my uniform, of course)... the last time I wore those socks were the Bears game, and before that was the Colts' game!

You're welcome.
I hope you washed them since then....

Anyone know if Oakland has played a good defense this year?

I miss JDR in a suit on the sidelines. I always thought that was a classy touch.
