Illegal immigrants take their chances. People are crying about displacement and separation yet never stop to think and realize that for a family to decide to risk it all in that environment and brave the heat and borders for a chance at a better life sometimes it doesn't hurt to go through a long, "draconian" process. And I am sorry and not sorry at the same time. Like it or not. They're a HUGE burden to the tax payer. And it's [BLEEP] that we have to eat those expenses and costs associated with it.
Our policies are tame and mild in comparison to the rest of the world. Mexico's government in and of itself is extremely hypocritical. Just look at the border and security they have in the South of Mexico. Look at how the Middle East treats it's own people when they have immigrants moving West instead of South or East to live in and around certain parts with similar languages, religions, customs and cultures. They're forced to move into places like Germany or the U.K.
So, please, spare me the bleeding heart and get off your soap box. We're still the largest [BLEEP] beacon on the planet for when it comes to freedom and opportunity. Are our policies perfect? Of course not. But compared to where these folks are coming from or what they've gone through? It's [BLEEP] heaven to them. People are crying over 1.8M or 800K illegals right now that don't offer much to our tax system right away. Yet, here it stands we have 554,000 Americans homeless according to HUD. With roughly anywhere between 40,000 - 50,000 of those being veterans. We also have an estimated 49M American's that struggle with hunger each year with 16.2M being counted as children. That's 1 in 5 KNOWN American children going hungry.
That's not to mention all the other burdens with cost of living, lack of education, poor mental health, shootings, crime, drug addictions, etc. We have PLENTY of [BLEEP] to worry about here FIRST with OUR OWN AMERICANS. LEGAL CITIZENS. That means everybody. Black, Latin, Asian, White, Christian, Catholic, Muslim or Jewish. Doesn't matter. But we need to start putting our people first. The people who have already been counted as an American. The people who have invested time, energy and taxes into our society and way of life. The people who fought and sacrificed for a better tomorrow. The people who have paid their dues and continue to pay EVEN MORE in dues today. NOT the other way around.
And this is coming from a non leaning left nor right mindset.
"What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? I, who was born in a naked land and bred in the open sky. The subtle tongue, the sophist guile, they fail when the broadswords sing; Rush in and die, dogs - I was a man before I was a king."
