***Official Bears vs. Packers Game Day Thread***

#1

Hi football fans! Tonight the 1-5 Chicago Bears play at Lambeau Field against the 3-2 Green Bay Packers in an important NFC North showdown. Kickoff is at 8:25 p.m. ET. You can watch the game on CBS, NFL Network, or Twitter. Green Bay needs a win to get one game behind the 5-0 Minnesota Vikings, who beat the Packers in Week 2. The Packers are coming off a blowout home loss to the Dallas Cowboys (30-16). The Bears lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars 17-16 at home in Week 6. Injuries - especially at RB and CB - are Green Bay's biggest problem right now, with the top players at both positions being either out just put on IR. Despite that, it should be an easy win for Green Bay. GO PACKERS!

Set up for a 4th down play... try to draw them offside. Fail at that, calls timeout. Come back out and try the 4th down play again and fail. This packers team isn't good. Can't believe we didn't spank them.

Read on deadspin that Eddie Lacey was getting fat again before his injury. According to the packers standards anyway. Wouldn't be surprised to see him on a new team before long.

Hoyer is down. Forearm fracture? You're forearm shouldn't bend back like that.

LOL. I disagree. Gonna be brutal to watch I think.

Remember when Barkley was projected as the first QB taken a 2 years before he was drafted
Reply

Remember when he actually played in Philly and we found out he was plum terrible?

And I'd take Hoyer to backup Blake over Henne. A non throwing forearm fracture won't end him.

I digress. Barkley looked like Joe Montana on that rollout.

So here's a thought. Who comes in if Barkley gets hurt? This is gonna get interesting. Bears oline is doodoo.
