Everyone keeps saying but it's all up to Blake Bortles. But it's not. Our defense is crazy good. Our special teams is above average with Lambo and Mickens/Greene. Our running game is the best in the NFL.

We just need Blake to be average, just like we've always said. I'm actually past all that. We don't need a gunslinger to throw Dilfer Dimes every week.

I don't hate it at all.

That is the natural progression of being talented and successful.

Based upon everything I've seen, read and heard so far, everyone on the team seems focused, so if that's true, it hasn't gone to their heads in a negative way.

If the Blake we saw during last December is what we get, then that ranking is legit. Hopefully they can maintain consistency during the season.

Keep that chip on the shoulder.. there's plenty of publicity out there still calling us one year wonders and over achievers. The fact of the matter is is that most of America was behind the Jags during our late playoff push and other fan's teams were eliminated. I don't mean to compare us to the Browns by any means but if they made a playoff push I'd be kicking and screaming for them to beat the Pats. The league really needs some parity. How many AFC titles does Brady need?

Wow time flies in football. Rewind the clock 2 years and we are a laughing stock and picked to finish last in the afc south. Love the new team but it was a very fast turnaround

If we're to take on the mantle of a perennially winning organization, we need to embrace the spotlight. That provides more impetus to win than an underdog chip on the shoulder, in my opinion.

I honestly think it's because we've always been on the bottom (minus the few good years). We're so used to that smell.... Now we can see the sky and feel the cool breeze, we're unsure of our surroundings. lol
