Pitt may of offered a similar contract as Gurley, but reports were wayyyy less guaranteed $. Supposedly Pitt works this way. So what is Bell supposed to do? Take the deal with less guaranteed because it's the "Steelers" way? That's petty on the Steelers behalf. Just let the dude walk if you aren't going to pay him. A RB has a very limited time to make money. He will still get paid for the year if he plays 6 games, so he probably will just try and screw the Steelers back over by saying ok no guaranteed $ then I am going to do this. It's business and that is always forgotten since we are fans and passionate about it as a hobby to watch. Bell has the right to do whatever he wants in this case tbh.
