Better without Fournette?

He and Fournette are different players. I do not think losing a player of Fournette's caliber makes us better. Having both of them healthy with a good game plan is ideal.

People suggesting we trade Fournette are the same ones saying we should have fired Marrone after last week.
I don't think losing Fournette makes us better but he's clearly not helping right now. It's better to give Yeldon all the 1st team reps and gameplan as if he was the starter rather than Fournette.

We need to just go ahead and sign Le'veon Bell to a 1 year prove it contract. Who cares about the cap. If we had a decent running back this team would be Super Bowl bound and that's really all that matters.

Why in the world would Bell sign a "prove it" contract?

For us, it would really be about cap space. Sign him for a year, move stuff around in the offseason, and sign him for an extended if he did well (which we all know he will).

He's holding out because he didn't want  one year deal. (franchise tag)  He wanted to a real contract with the guaranteed money that comes with it.

Why would he just change his mind?

Preach, you know the reason Bell is holding out is for a long term contract, right? He has a one year deal on hand. Kindly expound on this lovely idea mate. You are confusing us...

Exactly NYC, our posts crossed
