The Jaguars would have been up early if Allen Robinson did not slip on the crappy turf. Give him longer cleats and that pass is an easy TD.

The theory behind not using it on a consistent basis is you score too quickly and thus allowing your defense to be on the field far too often.


Conversly, we're currrently not scoring and not moving the ball and the defense is on the field far too often.




Hmmmmmm.

You try it more and have 3 and outs and your D will die.

 

The offense needs to be better, period.  I don't care if it's no huddle, slow huddle or whatever.

Longer? He wears size 14.. if he wears a size 16 or higher, they wont fit correctly and he will trip over them.

I am referring to the things on the bottom whose purpose is to prevent players from slipping on crappy fields. Not the whole shoe.

Or we could try to run it like a real NFL team with a fullback or power formation. We don't have a Cowboys Oline so not sure why we try using less blockers.

10 teams have no FB. Including Arizona, Denver, and Cincy. All who run the ball pretty darn well.
