Still, I'm one of those that has defended him when half of the board called him garbage. I'm glad the staff was smarter than all those folks trying to cut a second round pick in his rookie contract.

He looked very good last year at times and has only improved in 2018.

Yeldon was legitimately bad his first two years. He danced soooo much, and by time he found the hole he wanted he didn't have the burst to exploit it. Last year and this year he became much more decisive and gets north/south in a hurry.

What holes are you talking about?  I don't recall many.  He was usually hit 2 yards behind the line of scrimmage.  I give him mad props for being able to get to the LOS those first two years.

As long as he keeps up the accuracy I'm ok with the extended motion. He needs to watch the batted passes though.

Yeah, QBs have learned how to make their wonky deliveries work before. But his low release point resulting in batted balls is the only thing I wish he could get rid of

The batted ball issue has a lot to do with the Oline disengaging from their blocks and allowing the defender to get hands up. Once the Oline starts to gel with Reed in, I think you’ll see those less frequently. I believe Reed was accountable for two from watching the game live.

Reed?  Thought he only played vs tacks?  Shatley replaced Linder 2nd half vs. Jets, Wells has been in for C Rob.  Cann, Norwell and Parnell played.
