While no one is going to have a perfect team, you need a somewhat balanced team to really be a contender. And this team was not even designed to be that. It was designed to have an exceptional defense carry the team. Those types of teams do sometimes catch fire to win it all, but not consistently.

I get the Jags have to play their hand when they lack an elite QB, but the team design was flawed.
