Bigger threat to Florida than a Category 5 Hurricane

#1

We are in the midst of hurricane season, but the largest threat to our beautiful state (those of us who live here), isn't a category 5 hurricane, but a man named Andrew Gillum. People need to put partisan politics aside for this election and look at what electing this man will do to our state.  I am not going to sit here and pretend Ron DeSantis is the greatest candidate on the planet. I don't even like him, but you have to think about the things Gillum is for when closing the curtain behind you in that ballot box.
  • Tallahassee has had the highest crime rate in the state under Gillum
  • Gillum wants to increase taxes and expand regulations, killing job growth in Florida
  • Gillum is for single payer healthcare.
  • Gillum wants to abolish ICE
  • Gillum wants sanctuary cities in Florida
  • Gillum has flat out lied about taking bribes and being investigated by the FBI.
When you go to vote, ask yourself this. Are you okay with Jacksonville becoming a sanctuary city?

Please people, I know we disagree on a lot of things, but be smart on this one. Be smart. Tell your friends!

When Desantis back beohner in the houses attempt to remove him I said I'd never vote for Desantis again ( I voted for him as my rep in Flagler county). So I'm voting against Gillum but unfortunately that means I have to support Desantis. Democrats screwed up anything short of a socialist they'd have won this governor's race easy.

Gillum is the liar who accepted broadway tickets from an FBI official investigating corruption?

Don't monkey it up Florida!

Mickey was 'born' in the US, and is over 35. There's nothing spelled out in the Constitution that required the president to be a human being. The president does have to be a "citizen," so if the definition of citizen requires being human (or even physical existence) then that would disqualify him.

But...he's going to do socialism the right way.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

The problem is, the number of uneducated voters is multiplying by the minute and eventually one of these socialist' loons will control more than just a state.

Unfortunately this is like one of those situations where you need to just let kids make their own mistakes in life, but sadly, my home state may be used as the example.

Nah man... he ain't winning with the most recent news coming out about his corruption.

But yeah, the kids will have to make their own mistakes.
But us adults have to do what we can to make sure we educate them. It is our responsibility as parents and aunts and uncles and grand parents to teach our kids so that they are not easily manipulated by politicians.

Gillum won't get anything past the Republican state legislature, so there's no disaster looming if he's elected. Of course the environmental problems won't be addressed like the would with DeSantis who is big on fixing the Okeechobee overflow problem and restoring the Everglades.

Personally, I'd like to see the problem of fertilizer entering the aquifer being a priority. The springs are being overgrown with algae.

Wait... So Strouds thread in the political section of a Jags message board isn't working? Shocked.

More akin to "media shaping pre-election narrative to provide evidence of vote tampering post-defeat."

Just doing my part to warn people who care about their state. You don't strike me as one of those people though.

Any candidate who has you and FBT sweating has to be worth voting for - right?

And you who support a crook and con man in the White House pretending to care about Gillum's ethics. Come on - Trumpettes may be gullible, but the rest of us not so much.

Vote for the Boy from Fox? The Trump Lap Dog? No thanks.

But you did hit most of the Fox talking points. Socialism! Mob, mob, mob. Sanctuary cities! Brown people attacking - run for cover!

As Malabar pointed out, do you think the white boy millionaires who run the Legislature are going to let any of that happen?

I just think it will be a lot of fun to see the powers that be have to deal with something different. Time for a change!

Lol I sure hope you still don't pretend to be a republican. You can't seriously tell me your pick is Gillum but your a "republican". Gillum is the most extreme of left open socialism embracing canidates out there. He's to left for many Democrats.

I have great healthcare, and it used to be cheaper until government tried to "fix" it.
