Gotta give it to Bortles

He needs to stay in the shotgun and hurry up.  I have said numerous times he excels there.  He is not a typical pocket passer.  Ya build around him. We have tons of weapons.  Just roll from there.

We have the worst run game in the NFL and we are determined to run the ball out of pass formations until the 4th quarter. When we abandon the run and use it just as a change of pace, our offense comes alive. We will still be prone to turnovers if the defenses know we are passing exclusively, but we can at least move the ball and score. If we had a decent run game, Bortles could look like a pro bowler.

That's a stretch.   Not a fan of olsen at all but still a stretch.

They were bringing heavy pressure not respecting the run. It's an issue.

It would be nice to see.

Not many quarterbacks will look good when defenses can drop 7 into coverage and shut down the run and then force quarterbacks into 3rd and obvious passing situations.

One of the commentators at one point said that the Bears were only keeping six men in the box and still stopping the run. They have no respect for the run game

Go check the rankings on this rush offense.

It's either dead last or bottom 3.
