Hi, Jaguars Nation!     Our 3-6 Jacksonville Jaguars have a tall order to end their current five-game regular season losing streak, as the 6-2-1, and AFC North Division leading Pittsburgh Steelers, without Le'Veon Bell, come to TIAA Bank Field.

Jacksonville seeks to win a regular season home game over the Steelers this afternoon for the first time in 12 seasons. After a scoreless first half, Josh Scobee kicked his field goals from 31, 32, and 42 yards in the third and fourth quarters, to defeat Pittsburgh at then-named Alltel Stadium, back on September 18, 2006.

Jacksonville appeared to show promise and expectations to play and perform with the same excellence, dominance performance that earned them the 2017 AFC South Division Title, and go as far as the 2017 AFC Championship, even defeating these same Steelers twice, in the regular and postseason as far back as September.  Our Jaguars also has lost five of their last six games, their last win, a 31-12 home victory over the New York Jets at TIAA  Bank Field back on September 30.

Injuries also contributed as one of the factors of the current record, the most prominent was Leonard Fournette's hamstring injury that forced him out the first half of this season. Jaguars though are currently #1 in the NFL in Pass Defense after 10 weeks, allowing 200.3 yards per game, despite their current 3-6 record.

Jacksonville may still have the edge and advantage, leading the all-time series with 14 wins and 11 losses, including both regular season and postseason victories over Pittsburgh in 2017, both games the first victories over the Steelers since the 2008  season. Jaguars also outscored the Steelers 498 to 455 in their previous 25 games. Josh Lambo kicked his game-clinching 45 yard field goal for Jacksonville, with 1:45 left in the fourth quarter, to defeat Pittsburgh in both teams last meeting during the 2017 AFC Divisional Playoff Game at Heinz Field back on January 14, 2018.

A mix of clear and partly cloudy skies at 73 degrees is the game forecast inside TIAA Bank Field, for the 1:05 PM, Eastern Standard Time kickoff, along with 15% precipitation, 67% humidity, and east/northeast winds at 7miles per hour.

Head Linesman Walt Anderson leads his NFL officiating crew to supervise the game action on the TIAA Bank playing Field,between the Jaguars and the Steelers.

Today's game also continues the NFL's annual 'Salute To Service' Campaign throughout the month of november, recognizing our USA military personnel who both served and sacrificed to maintain our America's freedom through past and present generations, and retired and current servicemen. Both the Jaguars and Steelers players, and their coaching and team support staffs, and even Jaguars cheerleaders, may voluntarily wear NFL authorized team apparel both on the field and the sidelines.

Jacksonville, Florida has the third largest military presence in the USa, and soldiers nearby from the Jacksonville Naval Complex, the Naval Station Mayport Base, te Naval Submarine Base Kings Bayand Jacksonville MEPS, the Florida Air National guard, U.S. Coast Guard, and the local U.S. air force, have been invited to attend and meet the players at the TIAA Bank Field ground level prior to Jaguars game this month.
