***Official Broncos @ Chargers Thursday Night Football Game Thread***

Hi, Jaguars fans! Smile A prime time matchup between AFC West divisional rivals, as the first place, the defending Super Bowl 50 Champions, and 4-1 Denver Broncos, travel southwest to play the 1-4 San Diego Chargers for NFL's Thursday Night Football. Both the Broncos and Chargers prepared and adjusted from a short practice week to play tonight in front of an internationally televised audience, as both Denver and San Diego lead off Week 6 of the 2016 NFL regular season.

Tonight is the 114th all-time regular season meeting (and one postseason game, 2014) with Denver leading the series with 63 wins, 49 losses, and 1 tie (17-17 in Denver, 1970) entering tonight.

Broncos QB Trevor Siemien, who one year ago was the third-string QB behind Peyton Manning and Brock Osweiler, is starting again for Denver. Speculation also arises had Chargers RB Melvin Gordon had not fumbled in the first five games, the Chargers record would instead be 4-1.

Denver won 9 of the 10 last regular season, and one post season game, outscoring San Diego 254 points to 178 points, dating back to November 2011.

Jim Nantz and former N.Y. Giant QB Phil Simms are announcing the live TV game commentary, along with sideline reporter and interviewer Tracy Wolfson, simulcast on The NFL On CBS Sports, including locally on WJAX CBS Channel 47 in Jacksonville and WGFL CBS Channel 4 in Gainesville, The NFL Network, and on all computers and laptops on Twitter, beginning with the pregame show at 7:30PM Eastern Standard Time.

Ian Eagle and former Jaguars and USC Trojan offensive lineman Tony Boselli are also announcing the live radio game commentary on international syndication on Westwood One Radio Sports, including locally on WJAX 930AM The FOX, and in Gaineville on WRUF Sports Radio 850AM.

Sunny skies at 69 degrees is the game forecast inside Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, for the 8:25PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff.

Denver and San Diego are wearing their special Nike NFL Color Rush uniforms for tonight's contest. Both the Broncos, and the Chargers and their cheerleaders continue to wear pink to support the NFL's 'A Crucial Catch' campaign to raise awareness on Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

NO injuries to both the Broncos and Chargers, and GO BRONCOS!!!!! :woot:

Why would you root for the team that blew us out in Week 2? LOL

Denver will be coached by a former Jaguars assistant tonight.

Probably the best color rush combo I've seen yet. Those Broncos unis are sweet... and the Chargers are better.

Bosa already causing havoc.  2 sacks last week in his first game of his career and looking good early in this game.

Malik Jackson just got an honorable mention from Sims.  Saying the defense can still be great but not as great being that Jackson is gone

I had my doubts but dude looks like a monster. Good for him for catching up quickly and playing at a high level with minimal camp.

He got pancaked by #71, Not looking like the guy who sacked Derek Carr twice.

I don't like orange on orange. San Diego's uniforms are cool though.

They are still great this season. I don't understand what is wrong with them tonight, but they are definitely missing Jackson.
