RB's

#1

Keep an eye on the Pittsburgh Panthers RB's. Both are big, physical runners with pretty good speed who both ran for over 1,000 yards this season. One of them might not get drafted, because of an excessively deep RB class. Whichever one it may be, would be a priority UDFA in my mind unless we could add a pick or two via trades. Then, I'd definitely use a pick on one of them.

Devin Singletary. IMHO he's the best pure Runner I've seen in awhile.

Can we please draft a pass catching RB? Pretty please. And thank you.

Small school guy with a smaller frame. I see him more of a change of pace RB. I'm looking for a #1 RB, if we part ways with Fournette. If Fournette stays, he would be a fine compliment.

"big physical runners with speed" Pass. Sounds like fournette. Get a back with the total package like a Todd gurley, ezkiel, Kareem hunt, saquon, mccaffery

Guys like Gurley and Elliott don't come along very often and I can say with some certainty, there are no guys like that in this draft class. There probably won't be a RB taken until the mid 2nd round at the earliest and it's a crapshoot, which one it would be.

Theres a plethora of good RBs this year , even if the high end talent isn't there.

Looks like waiting to see who's there at the top of the 4th suits best right now

A guy to watch if he comes out is Ke'Shawn Vaughn out of Vandy. He transferred in this year and were going with a rotational system until they finally realized he was obviously the best back on the team. Averaged nearly 8 yards a carry which isnt half bad in the SEC. Only a junior. All us Vandy fans hoping he comes back for his senior year but if I were him I'd bail. He'll end up being a mid round pick most likely.

Anyone have any thoughts on Darrell Henderson of Memphis? Put up huge numbers this year. Ridiculous yards per carry. A ton of TDs.

I'm kinda hoping we get rid of every RB on the roster this offseason and just start completely over. RBs really are a dime a dozen. Would draft a guy 4th or 5th round every year or every other year. Run him into the ground. And never sign him to that big 2nd contract. Can always gets another one.

May only be 5'9 but is a solid 200lbs. He can break tackles and isn't injury prone. He's fun to watch.

Ke'Shawn Vaughn, to average 8 ypc over 1200 yards, and 12 TDs is pretty impressive with a Vanderbuilt team in the SEC. I like his buitld too at 5'10" 215. Looks to be a good blocker and has some jets too

Darrell Henderson
Myles Gaskin
Travis Homer
Alexander Mattison
Karan Higdon
Devin Singletary

All day 2+ backs I'd be extremely happy with. Plenty of depth to get a good back

That jump cut though....

Giving defenders nightmares.

Yup, don't let that height fool you, he's every bit of that 200lbs.

Great balance and vision with some sweet feet. Like knarnn said, his jump cut is nasty. Very willing blocker as well.

Would love if we drafted him.

I like Henderson, but we'd have to use a draft pick on him. There will be a ton of good RB's who don't get drafted. This class is loaded with talent.

Mattison is the one that stands out for me in that group. I really like that kid. Higdon I'm not high on and I'm lukewarm on Gaskin and Homer. I like Henderson a lot too and Singletary would make a great change of pace back. Personally, I don't think a RB gets chosen before mid round 2 at the very earliest. Tons of depth though.

After watching him the other night and looking into it a little deeper, there isn't any doubt my top back is Trayveon Williams. The guys is a stud and had almost 1000 yards and 10 TDs in his last 5 games and playing teams like Auburn, Ole Miss, LSU, NC St. If we do trade LF we better get this guy.

He'll have to declare first and given this crowded RB class, I believe he should wait until the 2020 draft.
