And sorry but SB MVP QB just doesn't mean that much compared to his entire career, which is as a whole pretty average to maybe slightly above average. We aren't getting that entire elite supporting cast, and we aren't getting the coach that literally mocked our coach in his book.

We have the Defensive supporting cast...and the New OC was his coach during that Super Bowl year.

Use the Draft to grab:
Metcalf/Hockenson/Ford/Taylor in the 1st....
Fant/Smith/Little/Harry/Lindstom in the 2nd...
Fill in the remaining gaps on offense with the two 3rd rounders...

I like your thought process. Like it or not, it's highly likely Foles will be a Jaguar so the draft needs to get him immediate support. Your possible choices in rounds 1 and 2 all make sense. I'll break it down further for rounds 1-4. It would be great if the Jaguars could trade down a few spots and get another pick, but this scenerio is without any trade.

Rd. 1-  T.J. Hockenson      Maybe a little high for a tight end, but he can do it all.

Rd. 2- Chris Lindstrom .    Day 1 starter at guard and the prototypical Coughlin pick. Can also play tackle in an emergency.

Rd. 3- Terry McLaurin       Great speed and underutilized at Ohio State

Rd. 3- Will Grier               Has enough tools to take over for Foles in 3-4 years and can be primary backup after rookie season.

Rd. 4  Tytus Howard .      Probably will be gone, but he'd be a great developmental tackle with much upside.
