Why didn't we draft Derek Carr

LOL

Says the guy who's all over the college forum calling players busts or beasts before they're ever drafted.

Better stock up on Windex for that glass house of yours.

I'm of the opinion that Carr wouldn't have held up as durably as Bortles has behind the lines we've had since they were drafted.

I also believe that size and durability were factors in Caldwell's scouting of that QB class because he knew the player he drafted would take hits early on.

Those are my opinions.  Feel free to disagree.

Quote:Pretty simple really.

They knew the QB they drafted would have a crap O-Line for at least two years and take a bunch of hits.

Hate on Blake all you want, but he's pretty tough. Carr wouldn't have held up.
this, no one knows how he would of done behind our online the last few years. I don't think he would of had the same success

Quote:Can you imagine how much better the Jags would be right no?. Between him its like comparing Peyton Manning to David Garrard when it comes to Bortles.

Jags will be drafting another Qb in 2018
Can you imagine how much better the Jags offense would be if we had a line and running game like Oakland?  They have twice as many yards.  We'd have to play 4 more games than the Raiders to gain the same number of yards on the ground.
