Steelers will not use transition/franchise tag on Le'Veon Bell
Le'Veon Bell will not be transition or franchise tagged by the Pittsburgh Steelers, team GM Kevin Colbert told members of the media on Wednesday that included Jim Wexell of 247Sports. Colbert said that the expense of tagging Bell was one of the reasons why the Steelers have decided not to place a tag on Bell for a third consecutive year. The other reason was the success of fellow running backs James Conner and Jaylen Samuels during the 2018 season. https://247sports.com/nfl/jacksonville-j...5sdHnUR6wE ![]() We show less advertisements to registered users.
