First, it's all speculation. The 2nd or 3rd rounder is just a price random people threw out there.

Secondly, this has everything to do with Kingsbury and Kyler. It really doesn't have anything to do with Rosen. If Kliff is out there saying "In order for me to be successful, I need Kyler as my QB" then of course the front office is going to try and make that happen. And if other teams know he wants Kyler and they need to get rid of Rosen, why would anyone offer a 1st rounder?

Exactly this...Kingsbury believes that Murray is the type of QB he needs for his system to work.  He and Rosen aren't anything alike.

If you were a coach and had a square peg you were trying to fit in a round hole (Rosen) but had the opportunity to fit in a square hole instead (Murray) which would you pick?

Most would say change your peg (scheme) to fit with Rosen. But if you believe the speculation, Kingsbury doesn't want to do that.
