I wouldn't have done anything different regarding the quarterback situation. Foles clearly gives them the best chance to win next season and is still young enough to give the Jaguars at least 3 more good years. Had the Jaguars not won a meaningless game at the end of last year or if the Giants didn't choke against the Cowboys, things would have been different. The way it played out, however, would have forced the Jaguars to give up way too much to move up for a quarterback who is no lock to become a franchise quarterback. As far as the money Foles got, who cares if they could have gotten him for a few million less. It's Shad Khan's money and the salary cap savings wouldn't be enough to keep Gipson. Foles' resume does not make his contract unreasonable, especially when compared to guys like Cousins who have never come close to winning the Super Bowl.

I wouldn't have done anything differently but offer him something closer to 18 mil per year and 30 mil guaranteed. Play time incentives required to earn it all.

I'd also have prefered drafting Haskins, but I'll be quite happy about how this is playing out if we add an O-lineman and TE early in the draft and find a good receiving RB at some point.
