Kevin White, WR, Chicago headed to IR
|
Looks like Chicago will be down one weapon for the next few weeks. I feel bad for the kid, he missed all of last year as well.
"...headed to injured reserve after he suffered a severe high ankle sprain that resulted in a fractured fibula in his left leg, general manager Ryan Pace announced Wednesday.
The Bears have not ruled out the possibility that White will undergo surgery, but the team is currently exploring all options before making a final determination.
...White is eligible to return in eight weeks."
I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
Sucks for him. He was a pretty high pick and there were some pretty good expectations of his play.

Quote:Sucks for him. He was a pretty high pick and there were some pretty good expectations of his play. Yes it does. He was what, the #5 pick? First WR off the board IIRC. The poor guy can't stay healthy. He missed his entire rookie season, then got hurt again and suffers another severe injury after coming back from that one.
Quote:Sucks for him. He was a pretty high pick and there were some pretty good expectations of his play. He was great at West Virginia. If he can get and stay healthy, I think he can be a good pro. Quote:He's a bust. Yeah its looking that way two straight years with a leg foot injury not good.
No Fun
Quote:Yeah it's looking that way two straight years with a leg foot injury not good. I don't believe injuries alone make a player a bust. Bob Sanders, Sean Lee, Ryan Shazier, and Fred Taylor were not busts. Kevin White showed potential to be a great player in his limited time on the field.
