Bart Starr was the reason I fell in love with football.

I was a kid in the 80's, and picked up a book from the library about him. I loved the stories of the bygone era of football, and while my friends were idolizing the Jim McMahons and Brian Bosworths of the day, I was busy learning everything I could about Otto Graham, Johnny U, and legends that made the game memorable.

He will be missed.

I never had the opportunity to watch him (other than NFL Films) but I was kind of the same way (only in the 70's).  I used to read about him from books.

Sad to hear about his passing.  RIP and prayers for his family.
