Beta particles are electrons or positrons. They are blocked by mere aluminum foil, and pretty much anything else. U235 fission releases neutrons or decays via alpha particle (helium nucleii) decay. There's also the fact that creating a facility with those kind of barriers around it is noticeable on satellite imagery.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.
