I believe he is still alive. They should bring him in so he can give a basic economics lesson on why forced wage increases always have a negative impact on the economy whether that is through labor market/supply and demand equilibrium adjustment because of excess or using the aggregate supply curve for labor that simply shows the more money/more leisure. The fundamentals have been put aside for emotions and a few votes. The irony is that those votes they are chasing would most likely be jobless under a Federal across the board minimum wage increase.

I love how politicians try to get more legislators on board by stating in the writeup that it will roll out slowly and if it begins to fail they will do a study to make corrections. Everyone knows once something like this is a law it is near impossible to turn back. They also know it's going to fail. All this is code for...we'll pass additional legislation to further subsidize mistake. Stupid
