Happy for him. I hope he makes the final 53. He's a great utility back and special team's player.

There goes the "re-sign him" crew.

He's a shifty, hope he makes it back fully. He can room with Marcedes in camp

I’m actually disappointed. How can this front office not see the value Grant brings to the table.

Unless Grant refused, then what a mistake

What a mistake?  Have you seen him play since his injury? How does he look?

Hope he is better. The FO already thinks we have better backs than him on the roster. Hope they arent wrong again in player evaluation.

I haven’t heard anything that would have set him back. It was a mistake not to bring him back.

So since you're heard nothing either way, that makes it a mistake.  lol

Apparently the Packers were impressed.

It just cracks me up, some of the things that people want to complain about.

Hyde was a casualty of last season's injury riddled O line. He has very strong legs and is a pile mover. I think he would have been a very useful jar on the shelf.

Jars on the shelf are young unproven, but ascending, low paid players. Hyde was about as far from being a jar on the shelf as a player can be.

I didn’t realize that ‘jars on the shelf’ was defined so narrowly.

so we sign Ryan and Swaim, both coming off of injuries last year, one in which has not been cleared yet, but we can't re-sign Corey grant to a cheap 1 yr deal?

Grant just got cut after 10 days from a team that has their top two RBs hurt. I think that might be some sort of indicator.

Grant is pretty much done.  Some team might sign him if they have injuries or need some depth.  Running backs have relatively short careers unless they are special.  There is nothing special about Corey Grant.
