How would you feel about trading for Trent Williams with how depleted/bleak our LT position looks?  I’d be more than happy to give up a mid rounder and use him as a one year rental.  If he stayed healthy, I’d just have Cam sit the whole year and get healthy.

I would give a 2nd for him all day. He hates Washington and we need a good LT. Even when Robinson was healthy he was average at best.

No.  It's not about money.  He had a tumor on his head, but supposedly the Washington medical staff misdiagnosed it as no big deal.

Now he no longer has trust in the doctors and refuses to play for them again unless they fire the medical staff.

Even though his age is older than ideal, I would welcome a trade for him,P especially since this news came isup.

I'd do it all day, if we could. He has a big contract though. Maybe if we traded them Marqise Lee, A.J. Cann and Lerentee McCray and Cedric Ogbuehi we might be able to, but we need to get some money off the books before we could bring him in.

Yea he's set to make almost $15m this season. Money is most definitely not the issue.

I would try and see if it's doable at this point. We can't afford to have a below average OL, even if Cam Robinson comes after a few weeks who knows what his level will be. If there's a position we can try to make an aggressive move on is on the OL or for a LB or a TE (nothing really available there at those spots)
He has no money left guaranteed, cap hits of 14M this year and the next. Restructure the contract giving him some more guaranteed money, lower his cap number this year and go from there. Assuming he'd be ok coming to play here, I could see several teams wanting him if he were to be traded.

We'll probably have to rely on Josh Wells at LT to start the season though...hoping he lasts more than usual as he's injury prone.
