He seemed to be flying around out there when we were in base at the beginning of the game. I noticed we went primarily nickel so he didn't see the field much after halftime. Hopefully Gus and Wash will start trying to find a way to work him into our nickel D during the bye week.

Looked solid to me. He made some plays, but did break contain once and let a back pick up a decent chunk of yardage though.

I didnt notice him in the second half. Solid first half.

I didn't notice him other than losing contain on the running play.

As knarnn said, he barely played in the second half since we were almost always in nickel.

He had a solid game. Not great, but not bad. About what you expect from a highly drafted rookie in his first career start.

He was ok.

He had a big hit on Gore that resulted in an incomplete pass.

He also failed to set the edge on Gore's longest run of the day...

His speed and talent are very clear though.

If he isn't the starting SLB for the rest of this season (as well as finding him ways to stay on the field in nickel), then this coaching staff needs to be slapped.

He played well in reference to the packaging. He must stay on the field in nickel packages though. This season he needs to get christened to be more effective next season...

He looked solid today, as good as you would expect for a debut and better than Skuta. He should continue to start as the season progresses. The talent is obvious and he had some nice coverage today as well.

He was ok. Had a few containment issues. He has work to do for sure. Looked about like I expected and really wasn't test in coverage. A good offense may have tried to exploit.

He was fantastic today, our 3rd highest graded player today. A lot of his coverage didn't show up in the stat book, but it made a huge difference today.

The only time I noticed him was on the play Cyprien got called for DPI. Sucks that his first career tackle for loss had to be negated by a penalty.

I agree he was decent and he earned more playing time, but Two missed contains and missed coverage on a TE who dropped a pass are not excellent. Get out with that inconsistent, mystery scoring, PFF junk.

Keeping Jack on the field in nickel likely will be in his future, but today was his first time playing on defense.
